Account Basics
Last updated: February 9, 2026
In Account, you manage your profile, team settings, privacy options, and safety-critical actions.
Sections in account settings
- Profile: name, organization (admin-dependent), and core identity information.
- Organization: plan, limits, and current usage.
- Members: invite users, manage roles, deactivate/reactivate members.
- Billing: billing information overview.
- Data Storage: plain/hash/encrypted metadata mode.
- Privacy: link to privacy and consent settings.
- Danger Zone: ownership transfer, account/organization deactivation.
Role awareness
Some actions are admin-only (for example role changes, privacy mode updates, and organization-level actions).
Profile and organization
- You can edit first and last name directly in Profile.
- Organization name can be updated by admins in Profile.
- In Organization, you can review active limits (for example users, suppliers, rows) and usage.
Manage members
- New users are invited by email.
- Roles can be changed as long as role rules are respected.
- Members can be deactivated and later reactivated.
- Seat limits can block invitations or reactivations.
Data Storage (privacy mode)
- Available modes: standard (plain), hash, encrypted.
- Only admins can change this mode.
- When switching modes, a supplier reset may be necessary.
Sentry and consent (opt-in)
You can find the full detailed write-up under Sentry & Consent.
Important for mode changes
If you change privacy mode, plan to reset and re-upload suppliers to keep data consistent.
Understand the danger zone
- You can transfer ownership to another member (admin context).
- Account and organization actions are not immediate permanent deletion; they follow a recovery-window approach.
- In some admin scenarios, ownership transfer is required first.
Safety-critical actions
Actions in the Danger Zone should only be executed after a quick team check, because they affect access, roles, or organization status.
