Processing

Last updated: February 9, 2026

In Processing, you upload a file and run it either with a template or with column merge.

Important

Supplier selection is optional. If nothing is selected, EvoKlar uses the default supplier (if available).

What you need before starting

  • An Excel or CSV file.
  • For template mode: at least one active processing template.
  • Optional: an active supplier if you want the job assigned to a supplier.

Choose the processing mode

Mode A: Template-based

Use this mode when you want to run the file with an existing processing template.

  1. Optional: select a supplier.
  2. Select a processing template.
  3. Upload the file.
  4. Let processing run and review the result.
  5. Download the output file.

Mode B: Column merge

Use this mode when you want to merge specific columns without a template.

  1. Optional: select a supplier.
  2. Choose Column Merge mode.
  3. Upload the file.
  4. Select the columns to merge.
  5. Set merge options (for example separator, strategy, remove source columns).
  6. Run processing, review the result, and download it.

Which mode should you use?

Use template mode for repeatable standardized processing. Use column merge for quick one-off structure changes without a template.

Review your results

  • Compare original data and processed data in the preview.
  • Spot-check critical fields and formats.
  • Download only after the output is operationally correct.

Output responsibility

You are always responsible for reviewing and verifying output results. DO NOT use processed or exported files in production workflows until you have fully verified that everything is correct.

After a run

The run is recorded as a job in history (including failed runs), so you can trace what happened.
