Workflows

Workflows speed up repeat runs: same templates, same column mappings, new file. In EvoKlar, workflows are tied to suppliers as optional source context — not to every processing or export run.

Who this is for

Especially useful when you regularly handle files from the same source and use suppliers for traceability, defaults, and saved mappings.

Workflows hub

In the authenticated app, open Suppliers > Workflows for a table of all active suppliers.

  • Preferred processing and export template per supplier
  • Default VE unit (when relevant for the export template)
  • Count of saved column mappings

Row actions:

  • Edit — opens supplier details including the Workflow section.
  • Process file — starts the processing wizard with supplier and template defaults pre-filled.
  • Export file — starts the export wizard with supplier and template defaults pre-filled.

Supplier workflow profile

On supplier detail, the Workflow section lets you set preferred templates and a default VE unit.

  • Preferred processing template — pre-selected when you quick-start processing.
  • Preferred export template — pre-selected when you quick-start export.
  • Default VE unit — for templates with manual Maßeinheit (VE) entry.

Automatic updates

After successful runs, template defaults may update automatically. Explicit edits in the Workflow section remain under your control.

Saved column mappings

In the export wizard you can explicitly remember a column mapping for a supplier — only when a concrete supplier is selected (not in no-supplier mode).

  1. Map columns and enable Remember this mapping for [supplier].
  2. Complete the export — the mapping is saved (column names only, no row data).
  3. On the next export with the same supplier, template, and header shape, mappings restore automatically.

Remove a saved mapping:

  • Uncheck Remember on a later export and export again, or
  • Delete from the Workflow section on supplier detail.

Run again and quick start

  • Run again — from processing or export job detail starts a new run with the same settings; you only upload a new file.
  • Process file / Export file — on supplier detail using profile defaults.
  • Workflows hub — table-based quick access for all suppliers.

Output responsibility

You are always responsible for reviewing and verifying output results. DO NOT use processed or exported files in production workflows until you have fully verified that everything is correct.
