Getting Started

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This guide takes you through the fastest path to your first successful result in EvoKlar.

Before you start

  • You have access to your EvoKlar account (signup or invite).
  • You have at least one representative Excel or CSV file for testing (for example a supplier list, client export, or internal report).
  • You know whether you want to reshape structure first (processing) or export into a target format.

Important overview

  • Processing and export are separate workflows.
  • Processing and export are independent — you do not need to run both.
  • Suppliers are optional: for traceability, repeat source runs, and saved export mappings.
  • Files are processed in the browser and are not stored on the server.

Output responsibility

You are always responsible for reviewing and verifying output results. DO NOT use processed or exported files in production workflows until you have fully verified that everything is correct.

Option A: First processing workflow

  1. Upload a file.
  2. Choose mode: template-based processing or column merge.
  3. Run processing.
  4. Review result and download output.

Option B: First export workflow

  1. Upload a file.
  2. Optional: select supplier (only if your template requires a supplier field).
  3. Select export template.
  4. Map columns and generate export.
  5. Download the output file.

Keyboard shortcuts

In the authenticated app you can reach pages faster. The keys shown match your operating system:

  • Ctrl+KOpen command palette
  • Ctrl+BToggle sidebar
  • EscClose dialog or palette
  • Use the keyboard icon in the authenticated app header for the full shortcut list.

Shortcuts use Ctrl on Windows and Linux, and ⌘ on Mac.

Repeat workflows

If you handle recurring file patterns or the same sources regularly, set template defaults, save export mappings when you opt in, and use the Workflows hub or Run again from job history. The Workflows hub uses suppliers as context, but is not required for basic processing or export.

Full guide: Workflows.

How to know your start was successful

  • You completed at least one successful run (processing or export).
  • You downloaded the generated file successfully.
